Children from the settlement are learning despite the closed schools

Although schools had to close their doors, children were not left without education. Thanks to the "Education as a way out of poverty" project, 35 children are involved in extracurricular educational activities that help them prepare for classes during regular school days. During the corona crisis, they meet in small groups in the community center. Here, the employees of our organization are dedicated to them. Children mainly repeat basic knowledge and develop their skills in a fun way. The project "Education as a way out of poverty" is supported by the ACF - Slovakia program, which is financed by the EEA Financial Mechanism 2014-2021. The administrator of the program is the Ekopolis Foundation in partnership with the Bratislava Open Society Foundation and the Carpathian Foundation.
