The life of immigrants in Slovakia

Short films about immigrants living in Slovakia for a long time. We work with Iraqi Christians in Výčapy-Opatovce near Nitra, with Ukrainian working immigrants in Košice and with the Vietnamese community in Bratislava.

The aim of the project is to show that people from abroad live the same lives as us. In our opinion, breaking down stereotypes in this area is the best way to accept migrants in our society.

The films are short 15-minute videos with personal statements of immigrants and their families, with a closer look at their work, family life and their unique view of our society. The everyday joys and worries of immigrants are the same as the worries and joys of ordinary Slovaks, which can help Slovaks accept them in our society.
